Rooftop Skyline Views

Floor-to-ceiling glazing along the rooftop lounge frames Manchester's skyline, offering guests an outlook that shifts from golden afternoon light to the city after dark.

Private Card Room

A quiet, wood-panelled room off the main lounge hosts classic table games in person, staffed by professional dealers, for guests who prefer a more intimate setting for the evening.

Curated Cocktail Bar

Our bar team builds a seasonal list around classic techniques and quality spirits, with a handful of house originals created specifically for the rooftop setting.

On-Site Gaming Lounge

The gaming lounge sits alongside the bar, featuring roulette and blackjack tables in a relaxed, well-lit space designed for conversation as much as play.

Considered Interiors

Warm materials, low lighting, and custom furnishings throughout the lounge and rooms reflect a design brief focused on comfort rather than spectacle.

Attentive, Small Team

A compact team of hosts, bartenders, and dealers means guests are recognised quickly and requests are handled without unnecessary formality.

Questions Before You Visit

Do I need a reservation for the rooftop lounge or gaming lounge?

We recommend reserving a table in advance, particularly on weekends, as both the rooftop lounge and the gaming lounge have limited seating. Hotel guests can arrange access directly through the front desk.

Is there a dress code for the evening?

We ask guests to keep to smart casual attire in the rooftop lounge and card room after 6pm. Trainers and sportswear are welcome earlier in the day but we ask guests to dress up a little for the evening setting.

Can non-hotel guests visit the rooftop lounge and card room?

Yes, both spaces are open to visitors as well as hotel guests, though evening entry to the card room may be subject to availability. We suggest calling ahead or booking through our reservations line.

Do you accommodate group bookings for the lounge?

We host small private groups in a section of the rooftop lounge with advance notice, typically for parties of eight or more. Please contact our events team directly to discuss timing and layout.

Is parking available on site?

Limited valet parking is available for hotel guests, and a public car park sits a short walk from the entrance. We're happy to provide directions and current rates when you book.

What are the opening hours for the rooftop lounge?

The rooftop lounge and bar are open from midday through late evening, with the card room typically opening around 7pm. Hours may shift slightly on weekends and public holidays.

Why Guests Choose Yarrow

A small set of reasons that keep guests returning to the rooftop

Views Over the City

Few rooftop spaces in Manchester offer this uninterrupted a skyline outlook, making the lounge a natural spot for an evening that starts before dinner and continues after.

🤝 Personally Hosted Evenings

Our small team knows returning guests by name and adjusts service accordingly, whether that means a preferred table or a quiet word about the evening's schedule.

🕐 Considered Pacing

Nothing about Yarrow is designed to rush. From check-in to the card room, the pace of the evening is set by the guest, not the venue.

🏆 Craft Behind the Bar

Our cocktail list is built by a bar team with genuine technical grounding, favouring balance and quality ingredients over novelty.

What Guests Are Saying

We stayed two nights for an anniversary and ended up spending most of both evenings on the rooftop. The card room was quieter than I expected, good for conversation, and the view over the city at sunset was worth the trip alone.
Priya Chandran Guest celebrating an anniversary
Booked a Corner Suite for a work trip and stayed an extra night just to use the lounge again. The bartender remembered my order the second evening, which I didn't expect from a hotel this size.
Carlos Fernández Business traveller from Madrid
My parents came up for a weekend and we all met at the rooftop bar before dinner elsewhere. The staff were relaxed about us just having drinks and taking in the view, no pressure to rush off.
Amara Okafor Local resident hosting visiting family
Reserved the card room for a small group of six, mostly colleagues. It felt more like a private lounge than a casino floor, and the dealer kept things easy-going for people who hadn't played much before.
Daniel Osei Team lead organising a work outing
Room was smaller than I pictured from the photos but the Skyline Room view made up for it, especially in the evening once the lights came on across the city.
Fatima El-Sayed Guest visiting for a weekend break
We booked the Rooftop View Room for a birthday weekend. Being that close to the lounge meant we didn't have to plan around lifts or timing, just walked up whenever we felt like it.
